Jumoke and her sister went to The Center for Puppetry Arts to see The Ugly Duckling. They had a great time watching the show, making ugly duckling puppets and seeing the museum. Here are a few pictures of their experience:

It's that time of the year again . . . the end of a fun and fruitful year of learning. Here are a few very important dates and events to remember:
Wednesday, May 21, 2008 - Awards Ceremony in our classroom from 9:15 a.m. until the awards have been given to each student. 
Parents, grandparents, siblings, and other family members are invited to our ceremony.________________________________________________________________________________________
Read, read, read, this summer! Don't forget to join the Summer Reading Club at the Powder Springs Library. (Many years ago the library was a different building. Ask your child to tell you what the library was at one time, many years ago. : ) ) Practice the skills we mastered this school year, including addition and subtraction. Your children will be ahead in first grade if you continue to ask them questions, take them to different places and give them exciting experiences. Learn something new every day!
