New Year Policy Changes

Happy New Year Everyone!

As we begin this new year, students should be very familiar with policies, routines, and procedures for fourth grade. I will begin taking a grade on morning work. The grading scale will be as follows:

All complete- 100

Half complete- 50

None completed- 0

The same grading scale will be applied to homework as well. I will average these grades and that will determine what the student will receive on the Work/Study Habit protion of the report card.

I will also be keeping track of the number of times a student has to be reminded of a policy and redirected. Students will be rewarded for recieving no marks on the class behavior sheet. This procedure will ensure that the students who are following procedures will be able to participate in hands on activities and fun Fridays.
